  here is a question i want to pose because i do not know the correct answer.

  i have seen many interracial married couples among jehovah's witnesses--moreso than i have seen in other religions.

  however, i have been told that once upon a time, interracial marriage was frowned upon by the wts hierarchy.

  Mmm motorcylce boots. NOW you're talkin. Sounds like some good ol kick your ass boots to wear. Would I look weird buying a pair without having a cycle? lol Sex-ay!

  Glad you finally got a man who appreciates and loves you for just being you. Great feeling, isn't it?

  As for the asshole..so, he's now a CO, eh? Riiiight. There's no good ol boys club. Jehovah sure does bless the Org with such noble, humble men, doesn't he?

  I really like this thread. It seems every woman has ditched the pantyhose...count me in, too! As for clothes..threw out all the dresses and all but one skirt, in case of an emergency funeral or something important. My style varies. I like anything from cotton/sweatpants to dress pants, blouse and a blazer. I mainly dress like I did growing up in the 80's meaning, jeans with a t-shirt and buttoned downed, opened shirt over it or a t-shirt and blazer, wearing either gym shoes or thick-healed shoes. I would like to get a really nice pant suit, and high tops (not to be worn at the same time, tho..lol)

  I Still don't wear any makeup, except once in a blue moon I will wear lipstick, and then it has to be light pink..mmm I look yummy! LOL

  My blonde hair used to be 3/4's down my back. As I got older, I cut it. Left the Org with it shoulder length. The last few years it has been quite short, and probably looks really dykish I'm letting it grow out one last time, and will try to get it long enuf to donate. After that, I'm chopping it off shorter than it has ever been! Why? Cuz I can, dammit! And boy, does that feel good!

  Harleybear~your comment reminded me of an elder's wife (was supposed to be a good friend) who actually did tell me that I would never get a brother wearing the shoes I was. For one, I have bad ankles and wasn't going to risk spraining them wearing these skinny minny 3-4" heals. Furthermore, I was never interested in wearing them, but I did wear thicker heals, or flats at times. She was right tho. I never did end up with a brother, but maybe that's cuz I was more interested in the sisters? lmao

  OK, things are about to get messy....

  i have been operating as an ex-jw for over five years now.. i was never d/f or d/a - following an unsuccessful marriage to a jw and subsequent divorce, i went through quite an awful period of my life.. i was blocked from seeing my daughter by my ex-wife and her staunch jw family.. slowly my jw friends started pulling away as they didn't want to get involved.. i lost all interest in the organisation, and started to build a social circle outside of the faith.. at this point, my mother was still an active jw.. during that time, my mother wrote a letter to the bethel in london explaining to them what my ex-wife had done, and how she had been supported by her jw family.. the reply ; your son, and yourself need to work on your own spirituality.

  jehovah will bless you as a result.. so that was it.. over the last 12 months, myself and my mother have spent a lot of time researching the organisation.

  i gave her crisis of conscience which she has read, and now she is at the point where she doesn't believe that the organisation have the truth and hasn't been to a meeting in over a year.. yet, she has been hounded by elder's since this time.. one particular elder - imagine, the hitler-type elder who makes it his business to organise and dictate everyone's lives.

  Wow! Sounds like an effin stalker to me! He's freakin insane! I'd say, I am telling you this one time...DO NOT CONTACT ME AGAIN! If you do, I am going to the police and filing a harassment claim. I have records to show how often you are calling me, too.

  Although, I really do like Balaam & oppostate's responses.

  That elder is stepping WAY out of line, and he needs to be stopped, either by contacting others in the organization, or the secular authorities, if the ORG fails to do anything. Criminy! I wouldn't be surprised if he is hiding nearby, taking notes like nutcase detective! Is this deuche married? Doesn't he have his own life, wife to worry about? Who has time for this kind of thing? What an ASSHOLE!
